[MEMPHIS, Tenn. – June 9, 2006] – Graphic Designers from across the U.S. have shown their flowering creativity by entering in International Paper’s Accent Opaque Show Your Colors Contest. Five winners were selected by a panel of judges, from International Paper and Oden Marketing & Design, and determined by originality, creativity and image quality. The winning photos were submitted by: Laura Kickey, Redhed Graphic Design in (Ambler, Penn.); Jo Reynolds, Attainment Company, Inc. (Verona, Wis.); Eva Silberman, Kaiser Marketing (Los Angeles, Calif.); Angelina Tolentino, Axis Communications (Washington, D.C.); and Chandra Young, Young & Martin Design (Atlanta, Ga.). “We introduced this contest this year to promote the benefits of whiter and brighter Accent Opaque to the design community,” said Esther Piñon, brand manager for Accent Opaque. “Just as the colors pop in the Show Your Colors flower cap, so do images printed on the new color-popping white of Accent Opaque. Our improved papers present a new opportunity for designers to be expressive and do work that really gets noticed.” Accent Opaque’s uniform luminosity makes printed text and images more striking than ever. The paper’s improved formation ensures outstanding printability, resulting in a high-quality look and feel every time. Accent Opaque offers the same legendary runnability and opacity customers have always relied on. To view the winning photos, visit www.IPpaper.com/showyourcolors.
