Cadet Plus Takes Nadeem Signs Into Improved Profitability

Press release from the issuing company

In the six months that Nadeem Aslam has had his UNIFORM Cadet Plus printer, business has never been better. The small sign shop situated in Central Manchester has seen business increase by 70 per cent and shows no sign of abating. “Since we’ve had the Cadet Plus, we’ve been able to do all our jobs in-house. We have made substantial cost savings, and in terms of time are far more efficient. It has really made a difference to our business,” says Aslam. The small sign business was established just two years ago offering a sign service based around vinyl cutting. However, since taking ownership of a Cadet Plus through specialist wide format supplier PrintMAX, Aslam has found that the vinyl side of his business has declined in favour of digital output. The company is now offering banners, signs for restaurants and local retailers plus indoor and outdoor display work. Aslam undertook quite a lot of research before settling on a UNIFORM Cadet Plus printer using trade magazines and the Internet for guidance. He came across PrintMAX quite by chance after seeing its advert in a leading trade magazine and contacted the company. “PrintMAX was very helpful and very friendly from the start. I had spoken to other companies but I felt from the start I got a great level of personal service. “I was given good advice, and printer was delivered and installed without any problems. We were given some training on the system on-site but as my background is in signage I was fairly au fait with the system as I had worked with Roland print and cut machines in the past, “ he said. The PrintMAX Uniform Cadet Plus comes with a UNIFORM TROOP V5 RIP. TROOP!'s streamlined User Interface makes job setup and colour management simple. Easy-to-use master screens puts the key functions where you can get to them fast. No matter how large or complex your production environment, TROOP! also has workflow tools to give users complete control while saving time, media, and aggravation. Ease of use and quality of output are the two areas that Aslam rates about his Cadet Plus. He also buys all his consumables and solvent inks through PrintMAX. “I like to work with one supplier who gives me a good deal and who knows me well,” he says. At present Aslam has the Cadet Plus on a PrintMAX three-year leasing scheme, which he says is an excellent way for a company like his to afford such a system. The UNIFORM cadet Plus is a 54 inch solvent machine. Offering both a print and cut system, it’s an ideal for small companies to build their colour business and great for display panels, single operation print and cut decals, point of sale displays, vehicle livery, bespoke backlit signage and banners. “We’re delighted with the Cadet Plus,” says Aslam. “It’s really proven itself for our business. We made the right choice with this system and printMAX has been really helpful throughout,” he adds.
