DocuLex Launches Archive Studio

Press release from the issuing company

Winter Haven, FL - DocuLex, developers of document imaging and management software announces the release of Archive Studio, a complete moderate volume centralized and distributed electronic document management system for small businesses and corporate departments. Archive Studio is tailored for environments benefiting from the ability of both paper and electronic document capture and image processing from central and remote locations. DocuLex's Instant Document Access is achieved by the Studio's convenient PC based document search and retrieval program. Functionality with affordability was the company's objective in the development of Archive Studio, enabling document capture devices including digital copiers, desktop scanners, facsimile and wide format units to facilitate in house electronic document management. The DocuLex Archive Studio collection consists of two programs operating in tandem. Goby Capture provides distributed capture with easy to use automated content indexing and image processing for document file storage on servers located on and off site. Goby may be used with any document scanning device. Desktop Search is the search and retrieval program complementing the capture software. Able to search a terabyte of data in under a second for rapid document retrieval, the program is as easy to use as an Internet search engine.
