Standard Register Continues Its Global Expansion by Licensing the ExpeData Digital Writing Solution to Lithotech in South Africa

DAYTON, Ohio, June 2 -- Standard Register announced today that Lithotech, a member of Standard Register's Global Print Network program, and a division of the $9.6 billion Bidvest Group, Ltd., will be hosting the ExpeData Digital Writing ASP and printing uniquely patterned digital paper locally utilizing ExpeData's proven unique pattern printing methodology. ExpeData provides all of the tools, methodology and knowledge-transfer that enable an organization to implement and support a digital writing infrastructure. Additionally, Standard Register's ExpeData team will support Lithotech's sales, marketing, implementation, customer support and business development of a complete, end-to-end digital writing solution for its customers in South Africa and elsewhere. In addition to hosting the ASP in South Africa, Lithotech has committed to purchase the ExpeData Print Enablement Solution. This provides them with the key components for unique pattern production, including hardware, quality control devices for testing pattern, installation, training, documentation, support and pre-certification to pass the highest level of digital print standards established by Swedish technology company Anoto, the inventors of the digital pen and paper technology.
