Heidelberg Stitchmaster St 90 Added at Printech of Stamford

Press release from the issuing company

KENNESAW, Ga. - October 25, 2007 - Printech of Stamford, Conn. is a busy commercial printer and direct mailer that produces a variety of jobs from business cards to annual reports with an emphasis on fast, high-quality service. To help keep that momentum going, the $7 million company recently replaced an aging stitcher with a 6-pocket Heidelberg Stitchmaster ST 90 saddlestitcher with stacker and cover feed. "The new stitcher is more accurate, runs at higher speeds, produces higher quality, and helps us meet our customers demand for quick-turn work," says Carmine Furci, vice president, who adds that Printech purchased the new stitcher in anticipation of the delivery of a new 4-color Speedmaster SM 74 perfecting press with coater in November. The company already operates two 2-color Printmaster QM 46 presses, a 4-color Heidelberg MO, a 5-color Speedmaster SM 74 with coater, a Stahlfolder B 20 and a Stahlfolder B 26, as well as POLAR paper cutters. It also uses Heidelberg pressroom consumables, including ink foils, ink fountain liners and blankets. Family-run Printech of Stamford serves customers along the eastern seaboard from Manhattan to Florida. "Our experience with Heidelberg has always been outstanding - that goes for sales, service, and the reliability of the equipment," Furci says.
