Baldwin Technology has strengthened its sales team in China with the appointment of Steel Li to the new position of deputy general manager in China. Mr Li has several years experience of selling printing presses and during his career in the industry has worked for Heidelberg and Goss International. In his new role he will have overall responsibility for Baldwin sales and support to the Chinese market. “Baldwin is the world’s leading manufacturer of press accessory and control equipment, supplying all of the major press players,” says Mr Li. “As I’ve been so closely involved in the press market I’ve obviously been very aware of Baldwin and have always been impressed by its professionalism and strive to push forward the boundaries of accessory and control technology. “The opportunity to join Baldwin and oversee growth in China is extremely exciting and I’m delighted to have joined the company. The opportunities in China are huge and we expect that Baldwin will be working even more closely with Chinese press manufacturers in the future, as well as with the local market, including the newspaper, commercial web and commercial sheet-fed sectors.”
