Lake Image Systems Releases Print Quality Verifier for Transactional and Security Printing

Press release from the issuing company

(Henrietta, NY)- Lake Image Systems announced the global launch of the Print Quality Inspector for high speed print quality verification on continuous printers. The Print Quality Inspector monitors the continuity of continuously printed documents on inkjet, LED and laser based printing equipment. If Print Quality Inspector detects an error condition, it can raise an alarm to warn the operator, stop the printer and log all error conditions in the system’s reporting package. Offered for security printing applications such as check, banknote, ticket and financial document printing, the Print Quality Inspector can be retrofitted to virtually any continuous printing device. “Deteriorating print quality prohibits documents with bar-codes and MICR from being useable for their intended market purpose. It also creates significant production delays for document processors by halting downstream processing equipment such as inserters if the bar-codes and OCR codes are not of sufficient quality” stated Pat Hoskins, VP- Sales & Marketing for Lake Image Systems. “The Print Quality Inspector reduces the waste, rework and potential liability of identifying downstream printing issues” According to LIS Managing Director, Martin Keats, “Keeping with our expansion into printing, packaging and pharmaceutical markets, The Print Quality Inspector is a natural ancillary solution to our data integrity systems. Our clients can now implement enterprise wide verification solutions, from a single vendor, which have a harmonized user interface and software structure.”
