Kodak Helps Customers Grow with KODAK MARKETMOVER Business Development Services

Press release from the issuing company

PHILADELPHIA, May 16 -- One hundred percent revenue increase expected in 2006. Two and a half times anticipated sales after the first quarter. These are the business results two Kodak customers are experiencing through the newly named KODAK MARKETMOVER business development services. At AIIM ON DEMAND 2006, Kodak is announcing the launch of expanded business development services already helping many Kodak customers create new demand, grow their businesses and uncover additional business opportunities. MARKETMOVER services deliver an expanded range of innovative tools, resources, and support to enable customers to maximize their return on investment in new technologies and achieve dynamic business growth. MARKETMOVER service professionals work directly with customers in developing marketing plans, training senior management and sales representatives on new business opportunities, and supporting marketing and sales programs. MARKETMOVER service support also includes educational materials, marketing and sales tools, application samples and customizable templates available online at the KODAK MARKETMOVER premier resource center (www.marketmover.Kodak.com). “When we launched our digital print strategy, Kodak's business development team worked with us to assess our marketplace and figure out where the biggest opportunities were,” said Ian Flynn, President of Direct Response Imaging, a former digital service bureau that has transformed into a fast growing digital printing company. “We're in a highly competitive market, but we're finding growth opportunities are limitless. We installed a KODAK NEXPRESS 2100 digital production color press in 2005, and we expect to double our revenue in 2006. Our KODAK MARKETMOVER business development service specialist has been a big part of that success.” As part of this announcement, Kodak is introducing the KODAK MARKETMOVER Premier Packages, which have been developed to support owners of the KODAK NEXPRESS digital production color presses, KODAK DIGIMASTER black and white print systems, and the KODAK DIRECTPRESS DI digital offset systems. Packages include on site workshops for business planning and sales training, ongoing marketing and sales consultation, and access to the MARKETMOVER online resource center. Kodak will continue to expand these packages to meet the needs of its growing customer base. “Graphic communications providers are facing growing competition and are looking for ways to transition their businesses. They want more aggressive marketing efforts and new sales strategies,” said Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group (GCG). “KODAK MARKETMOVER services help printers develop actionable marketing plans and train sales teams to uncover new revenue opportunities. Bottom line: We can help customers get their business where they want it to go.” Kennickell Print and Global Marketing, a $13 million family owned commercial printing company founded in 1892, installed a KODAK NEXPRESS 2100 plus press in January. Working with KODAK MARKETMOVER service professionals, the Savannah, Ga., business saw digital printing revenue soar two and a half times greater than their business plan by the third month of operation. “Kodak has done a great job of bringing in the right people to help us successfully launch our digital print business,” said Al Kennickell, President, Kennickell Print and Global Marketing. “We can't rely on the Savannah market alone to grow. Kodak has helped us target the right industries and business types, so we're drawing business from well beyond Georgia. With KODAK MARKETMOVER services, Kodak has always been able to give us advice and solve any problems.” “Kodak not only provides the innovative technologies that can help our customers be more competitive, we offer extensive post installation support to help them get new business quickly,” Hayzlett said. “We have an expert team of MARKETMOVER business development service professionals whose job is to help our customers succeed. MARKETMOVER services are also another way Kodak helps drive overall print demand for our customers and further enables them to grow their businesses.”
