Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 18 -- Eastman Kodak Company Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Antonio M. Perez will be the keynote speaker at the Graphic Users Association (GUA) North American Conference May 24-27 at The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, British Columbia. "Kodak has assembled a broad portfolio of solutions so we can offer our graphic communications customers the resources to meet the needs of an evolving industry. We recognize that many of our customers operate in a blended production environment, and we have built the widest array of digital and conventional solutions in the industry because no single approach will meet the needs of every customer," Perez said. "Our primary goal is to grow our business by helping our customers generate more revenues, run their operations more smoothly, and enable them to more efficiently meet the needs of their customers." More than 200 GUA members and 100 Kodak executives, product managers, developers and technical experts will interact throughout the conference on a range of topics relating to solutions from Kodak's Graphic Communications Group (GCG). The GUA was created to address user questions during the introduction of CTP technology, and acts as a forum for Kodak customers using conventional, digital and hybrid printing equipment, software, and consumables to share information, discuss business trends and address technical matters. Information about the organization is available at www.mygua.org. Conference attendees receive a credit of $3,000 toward the purchase of selected KODAK software. "GUA is an independent organization that enjoys a strong partnership with Kodak. The GUA North American Conference gives our members a great opportunity to interact with each other and hear directly from Kodak's leadership to get the most out of the KODAK solutions we all use," said GUA President Richard Dunklee, who is Director of e-Business Solutions with HBP Inc. of Hagerstown, Md. "The KODAK product development team will host roundtables for GUA members and run a workflow lab during the event as a 'technology sandbox' for members to see demos and try the latest software solutions." "GUA is a terrific networking and learning opportunity. Kodak is known for devoting resources to get ahead of future trends, and applying research and development muscle to meeting the needs of our customers. GUA gives us a chance to listen to some of the best minds in the graphic communications business," said Jim Langley, President, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, and Senior Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. GUA Conference attendees will have the opportunity to tour Kodak's nearby manufacturing plant, development labs, demonstration facility and response center.
