Press release from the issuing company

VALHALLA, N.Y. (May 16, 2006) – Fujifilm will showcase a number of new solutions – as well as new equipment – during this year’s ON DEMAND Conference & Expo, when the annual show kicks off in Philadelphia, Penn. on May 16, 2006. Fujifilm, along with partners Xerox Corporation, Mutoh America and Dorn SPE, Inc., will present solutions that will help attendees “color manage it accurately, color print it correctly and UV coat it perfectly.” The solutions are available through Enovation Graphic Systems, which adds its extensive service and distribution network, along with Fujifilm’s color expertise, to the best-in-class products and solutions from other industry manufacturers to offer complete and reliable solutions. During this year’s show, the company will debut the new Xerox DocuColor 5000 digital color press, which offers users razor-sharp printing and copying at up to 50 pages per minute. A new product offering from Xerox, the DocuColor 5000 digital color press boasts 2400 x 2400 dpi, along with automatic duplex printing from all paper trays, for media up to 80lb. cover stock and with sizes up to 12.6” x 19.2”. The new device also features an optional secondary feeder, high capacity stacker, common stacker and scanner module. Fujifilm will also show the DocuColor 8000 digital color press as well as the DocuColor 240/250 printer/copier, both from Xerox. Industry professionals are completing an increasing number of jobs using digital printing, enjoying faster turnarounds and meeting tighter deadlines. The DocuColor 8000 digital color press supports faster turnarounds, large and small print runs and complex mixed-media and variable-information jobs and is ideally suited for commercial printers, service bureaus, data center, and in-plant operations. The smaller Xerox DocuColor 240/250 printer/copier is a perfect choice for color-intensive documents and enables users to take on more jobs, more often. To accompany the Xerox line of products, Fujifilm will also show the DMC multi-coater from Dorn SPE, the leading in house manufacturer of roller coating equipment. The DMC represents the most affordable and user friendly coating line on the market, and produces high quality UV glass or matte coating on a variety of printed stocks. “Digital printing continues to be a growing market and an important opportunity for many of our customers,” says Phil Kane, vice president of digital printing for Enovation. “At Enovation, we’re uniquely poised to help our customers not only select the device that will be most beneficial to their current operations, but also assist them in implementing digital printing into their workflow and demonstrating its benefits to their customers.” In addition to the digital printing offerings from Xerox and Dorn, attendees will be able to see the latest offerings from Mutoh America for the wide format market.
