PGSF to Manage Anne Sowles Calhoun Memorial Scholarship

Press release from the issuing company

Sewickley, PA, May 9, 2006-- Print & Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is honored to assume administration of the Anne Sowles Calhoun Memorial Scholarship. The Anne Sowles Calhoun Memorial Scholarship was started in 1994 with gifts from members of the industry to honor the wife of the then PIA chairman of the board David T. Calhoun. The transferring endowed scholarship principal is over $37,000. The past income received has funded over ten recipients to attend the former PIA Executive Development Program (EDP). PGSF will now manage the permanent endowed scholarship to provide financial assistance to a woman studying graphic communications at a college or university level. "Thanks so much for looking out for this scholarship. I know the many friends that contributed to it will be happy to see the fund is being perpetuated. I would like to see that it remains a scholarship for a woman entering some formal phase of graphic education," commented David Calhoun from his home in Lafayette, Tennessee.
