Monday, May 08, 2006

Press release from the issuing company

Woburn, MA - April 27, 2006 -- Charrette, LLC., a leading provider of digital and traditional design imaging products, today announced the appointment of Michael (Mike) Walter to General Manager of the Mountain States Operations. In this newly created position, Mr. Walter will assume leadership of operations and distribution for Charrette's mountain region, a result of Charrette's recent acquisition of Mile High Imaging Supply in Denver. In announcing this appointment, Charrette CEO, Jack Ford, commented that "Mike Walter brings more than 15 years' experience and an impressive record of accomplishment to his new role. We are confident that he will manage the transaction from Mile High to Charrette and help our staff to provide the highest level of service to our customers." Mr. Walter joined Charrette in 1991 as a Sales Representative and quickly assumed management of Charrette's Chicago Operation. He later moved to London in 2000 to begin Charrette's international product business. In 2002 he returned to United States to manage Charrette Northeast and Mid Atlantic Sales regions. Most recently he has worked directly for Mr. Ford as Director of National Sales Training at Charrette's headquarters in Massachusetts. Mr. Walter will provide proven leadership as Charrette invests resources to expand it's distribution in the Mountain States region. These investments will allow the company to broaden it's product offering and increase it's technical service capability, allowing the company to serve a wider variety of customers in the professional design industry. Mr. Ford noted, "Over the next two years we will make significant investments in staff, inventory, and marketing in the Mountain States Region. Our goal is to double the business by 2008."
