GREEN BAY, Wis., May 5 -- Tufco Technologies, Inc., an ISO9001:2000 company was recognized by the Flexographic Trade Association (FTA) as a multiple award winner in the 2006 Excellence in Flexography Awards for the fifth consecutive year. Tufco received awards for three entries that were submitted. In the wide-web, uncoated paper process category, Tufco received both the Gold and Silver Award. In the film process category, Tufco received a Silver Award. This was Tufco's first award in the film category. Appointed committees comprised of print industry experts judge entries on degree of difficulty and level of execution. According to the FTA Judges the selection of winners was very difficult this year due to the high overall quality of entries as a result of sophisticated technology in the industry.
