Pictorial Offset Corporation's "Daughters & Sons Day" A Success

Press release from the issuing company

Carlstadt, NJ, May 3, 2006 – Pictorial Offset Corporation, the largest privately-owned, single-facility commercial printer in the United States, announced today that it's “Bring your Daughters & Sons to Work Day” was a big success with participation from customers, suppliers and employees. The three hour program for the 17 participants explained color theory, the difference between additive and subtractive color, the power of print communication and the basics of offset printing. By starting with the Bill of Rights and a brief overview of Benjamin Franklin's contributions to the Printing Industry, and ending with a tour of Pictorial's state-of-the-art facility, the children and their parents received a full course of PRINT. “This was Pictorial's first attempt at such an endeavor to an audience we are not used to addressing,” said Donald Samuels, Managing Partner of Pictorial Offset Corporation. “We all had a great time, and we all learned from each other. Because of the wonderful feedback from the parents and children, we are looking to expand the program for 2007 to be even more inclusive of our community of clients, supplier-partners and our employees. It was a most rewarding day.”
