MISSION VIEJO, Calif.--May 3, 2006-- Franchise Services Inc. announced the appointment of Dan Beck as president and chief operating officer of Imaging Solutions Inc., a newly created company focused on the growing imaging supplies market. Beck was previously president of Sir Speedy Inc., an FSI franchise brand. "I've had the pleasure of working with Dan for 29 years now. He brings a wealth of experience in marketing, franchising, and business development. For the last 10 years he has led Sir Speedy through a number of successes and I'm confident in his ability to support the strategic planning and launch of our new venture," said Don Lowe, CEO of Franchise Services Inc. Beck will be responsible for developing three distribution channels of FSI's new imaging supplies business; Better Choice(TM) ink and toner products sold through PIP and Sir Speedy franchises, an ink and toner retail Web site and a new ink and toner retail franchise concept. He will help develop the brands and company positioning, oversee all product lines and service offerings and build the new franchise network. Beck first joined Sir Speedy in 1986 as assistant vice president of franchise services and became vice president of franchise services in 1989. He previously served in several management capacities with Kampgrounds of America Inc., including vice president of franchise sales.
