New Web Portal Provides Marketers with Worldwide On-Demand Publishing

Press release from the issuing company

SAN DIEGO--April 28, 2006--Y AMAGATA AMERICA Inc. today introduced XLdoc -- a new Web portal that lets international companies create, update, translate and print marketing materials when and where they are needed. "The XLdoc service is a critical advance in marketing efficiency," said Maddie Ong, YAMAGATA AMERICA Asia business manager. "By inexpensively updating or changing marketing collateral and locally printing only the number of pieces needed, companies can reduce marketing expenses related to obsolescence, warehousing and shipping." From anywhere in the world, marketing and sales personnel can access YAMAGATA's XLdoc marketing portal to quickly create custom brochures, data sheets and other marketing collateral. With online templates and pre-approved images, they can quickly make translations and update product images, logos and contact information. Even with this high level of customization, the company's brand is preserved with a consistent look from piece to piece. Once a data sheet or brochure is created, marketing and sales personnel can order printed marketing materials in the exact quantities required via the XLdoc Document Ordering application. The system interfaces seamlessly with YAMAGATA's global network of digital printers. When an online order is approved, a corresponding order is e-mailed to the local print supplier for production. XLdoc saves money by reducing waste associated with printing obsolete collateral materials. It also eliminates costs associated with domestic and international shipping. XLdoc saves time by significantly reducing the number of interactions marketing personnel have with copywriters and designers.
