GMC Software Technology Announces Key Executive Appointments

Press release from the issuing company

April 27, 2006 - Charlestown, Massachusetts and Appenzell, Switzerland - GMC Software Technology, setting the New Standard for personalized customer communications, today announced important executive changes designed to strengthen GMC's expanding global sales and marketing focus. Stephen Graziani, with an extensive background in the variable data software and printing industry, has been appointed president of GMC Software Technology, Inc. Graziani succeeds Hal Morrow who has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer for GMC Software AG, the parent company for GMC's global operations. Graziani joins GMC after a very successful career at NEPS and INSCI, where he held similar senior management positions. According to Dr. René Müller, CEO of GMC Software AG, "GMC recorded double-digit revenue growth and grew our customer base by about 20% in 2005, a trend that has been consistent over the last several years. In response to this trend, we have recently added new offices in Japan, the Czech Republic, Germany, and opened a subsidiary in Canada. In line with our expansion, we also recognized the need to globally coordinate all GMC marketing. As our new CMO, Hal will now be able to concentrate 100% of his time maintaining our strong solutions focus for all global marketing." Graziani is a highly respected industry executive with more than 20 years experience supporting sales, marketing, customer services, program management and related fields. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and a MS degree in Math/Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Graziani says, "I am proud to be part of this customer-oriented GMC team. The company is clearly on an upward growth path, with an exceptional solutions suite that offers customers the latest and best technologies for improving communication processes, reducing response times, and cutting costs." "Stephen has an exceptionally strong background in electronic presentment, content management, composition software, storage systems, print automation and print-on-demand. This is precisely the background needed to continue our strong growth in our United States subsidiary. He is exceedingly well qualified to fill this role, and I welcome him to our company," continues Müller.
