Unisource Signs Agreement with IBM to Market and Distribute IBM Branded Papers

NORCROSS, Ga.--April 25, 2006-- Unisource Worldwide, Inc. announced today it has signed an agreement with IBM to market and distribute IBM branded papers to their customers. The IBM product line is the newest addition to Unisource's business papers offering and strengthens the company's market-leading portfolio of strategic paper brands. In commenting on the new agreement Ed Farley, Vice President Sales -- Paper, said, "we are very proud to have reached an agreement with IBM to market their papers. This alliance supports our ongoing strategy to work with leading companies to streamline our product offering and build the most efficient merchant supply chain for our customers." IBM branded paper categories offered by Unisource include Multi-Purpose Business Paper, Computer Paper, Laser Cut Sheets, Engineering Rolls, Copier Tabs and Data Center Roll Paper. Unisource customers will have the ability to consolidate their current suppliers by purchasing a greater selection of products from one source. Customer targets for the IBM line include data centers, in-plant printers, resellers, and corporations of all sizes. Papers manufactured to world class industry standards All IBM branded papers are manufactured to industry specifications and will be supplied to Unisource by licensed IBM manufacturers and converters. All products are designed to meet IBM's high quality standards for reliability and runnability. Unisource has complete product offering and national distribution network "No other company has the complete product offering and market reach of Unisource," said Farley. "We developed this partnership because of our ability to strategically stock IBM branded papers across our locations and distribute to customers effectively through our national network," he said. Unisource is now accepting orders for IBM branded paper.
