RR Donnelley Expands Forest Stewardship Council Certification

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, April 25 -- R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company today announced that its Financial Services facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Business Communication Services facility in Logan, Utah have achieved Forest Stewardship Certification (FSC). With these latest certifications, RR Donnelley offers customers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to using FSC-certified papers by displaying the FSC "checkmark and tree" logo across the industry's broadest portfolio of printed materials, including magazines, catalogs, retail inserts, directories, books, short run commercial printing, prospectuses and other financial reporting materials, as well as statements and other personalized print-and-mail documents. Forest Stewardship Certification tracks raw material chain-of-custody to assure that paper used in printed products originates from sustainable, legal and verified logging. "With the certification of these two facilities, we enable our customers to demonstrate to their clients that they support responsible environmental practices and sound forest protection and management," said Dean Cherry, RR Donnelley Group President, Integrated Print Solutions. "These new certifications reflect our long-standing commitment to sound environmental practices."
