Prevaro, Inc. Experiences Quality and Value with Newest Mitsubishi Sheetfed Press

Press release from the issuing company

EDINA, Minn. — Prevaro, Inc. is winning awards for its high-caliber print work. Prevaro, an $8 million commercial printer, has been cited for national and regional recognition for superior craftsmanship on multicolor sales and marketing materials, brochures and catalogs. The firm continues to improve its production systems as its customers' need change. Among Prevaro's recent acquisitions is a 40-inch Mitsubishi Diamond 3000S sheetfed press with inline aqueous coater. The six-color press went into full production in September 2005, and is delivering the quality and value that Prevaro expected as an existing Mitsubishi press user. "We know and like Mitsubishi presses," explained Mike Geehan, president. "We had excellent performance from our first Mitsubishi, and we anticipated the same quality results from the new press." With 55 employees, Prevaro provides print media production services for many of Minnesota's largest corporations. Prevaro prints, warehouses and distributes materials for manufacturers, medical corporations, small publishers, service organizations and other business entities. The company bought its first Mitsubishi press, a 28-inch Model 1F, in 1997. That press also is a six-color machine equipped for inline aqueous coating capabilities. "We ran the 28-inch press around the clock, six days a week, to print a wide range of commercial products," Geehan said. "Our sales staff began bringing in more 40-inch work, and we knew that a bigger press was needed to handle the larger jobs. It was a logical step to add the 40-inch Diamond 3000S." Print volume was especially robust in 2005, according to Geehan. He said the addition of sales personnel coupled with the economic recovery in the printing industry boosted sales by 30 percent. Geehan has every intention of continuing this trend in 2006. "The Diamond 3000S is a highly efficient press with a strong reputation for reliability," he said. "It holds register and maintains excellent print image quality. The ink density and color tones are consistent throughout the run. This investment gives us added capacity to increase our business across the board, particularly in high-quality catalogs where we can meet tight deadlines and strict reproduction requirements."
