Graphic Press & NASCAR Announce New Relationship

Press release from the issuing company

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 6, 2006) – Los Angeles, CA-based Graphic Press, the nation’s fastest-growing premium-quality minority-owned printer, and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) have formed a new relationship that reflects their mutual commitment to diversity. Graphic Press will partner with NASCAR to produce a wide range of printed materials for the racing industry leader, including corporate and business-to-business collateral, consumer brochures, schedules, guides, posters and more. “We’re excited to join the NASCAR team,” said Jim Cooper, president of Graphic Press. “NASCAR has experienced tremendous growth in recent years. We look forward to playing a role in that continuing success for years to come.” More than 70 percent of Graphic Press employees come from minority backgrounds. Its leadership in diversity has earned the company many awards, including the coveted Corporate Plus Distinction from the National Minority Supplier Development Council – one of only 80 such designations nationwide. “NASCAR is strongly committed to increasing diversity in our sport – on and off the track,” said Tish Sheets, NASCAR’s director of diversity. “We are pleased to welcome Graphic Press to the NASCAR vendor family.” NASCAR, headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, is a member of the Florida Minority Supplier Development Council and the National Minority Supplier Development Council. As a company, it is dedicated to working with minority-owned businesses. “Graphic Press is a perfect match for NASCAR’s philosophy of creating mutually beneficial opportunities,” added Cooper. “Together, we’re in the winner’s circle.”
