Punch Graphix announces new CEO

Itasca, IL, April 27, 2006 – Punch Graphix is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Canavan as the President and CEO of its North American operations with immediate effect. He will succeed Kristof Vereenooghe, who has decided to move back to Europe. Patrick comes to Punch Graphix from LG.Philips - a multi-billion dollar venture. He was the President of the company’s USA entity and Sales Director covering North and South America. Prior to that, Patrick held various positions of increasing responsibility within Philips Electronics, primarily in sales, marketing, customer service and strategy related disciplines. When asked what drives him, Patrick responds, “I like to embrace new challenges. I’m value driven in my business approach and decision making. I am impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit, technology and market focus of Punch Graphix. There is a clear potential for our company to grow substantially.” Patrick holds a Chemical Engineering degree from The Ohio State University. He is married with 4 children. According to Ben C.
