Tuesday, March 21, 2006

Press release from the issuing company

KBA North America, a leading supplier of sheetfed offset and digital presses based in Williston, VT, has announced that it will spotlight its unique press products at PrintFest 2006, a traditional and digital printing conference and expo, scheduled for May 11-13, 2006 at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California. KBA North America’s can be found at booth 419. “KBA is looking forward to participating in PrintFest,” says Bill Silber, Vice President of Sales for KBA North America, Inc. “KBA is focused on the West Coast market and welcomes a premier show to Southern California. We look forward to building on the interest in our offerings at Print ’05 by showcasing the Genius 52 UV press and our newest innovations. With the opening of our new facility scheduled for later this year, the recent additions to the KBA sales and service teams, and the participation in PrintFest, we wish to send a clear message to our partners in print here in the western part of North America that we are committed to the market.” Central to KBA’s booth presence at PrintFest will be its KBA Genius 52 UV five-color offset press, the world’s first waterless sheetfed UV press. The Genius 52 UV is a small footprint 20-inch format one-operator machine designed to print on a variety of stock including paper, board, plastic and lenticular. Using a central impression cylinder, the Genius 52 UV ensures accurate registration with full automation and immediate drying using its UV ink system. PrintFest 2006 will feature more than 100 exhibiting companies that will showcase traditional and digital printing products and solutions. The innovative solutions offered by exhibitors are designed to help printers operate their businesses more efficiently and increase their profitability, which is the primary theme and focus of PrintFest 2006.
