NELA displays equipment on various booths at NEXPO

Press release from the issuing company

Oakdale, MN – March 21, 2006 – NELA is excited about their strong involvement at NEXPO. The Minnesota based company will display a large variety of running punch/bending equipment on different booths – from the high-end Vision Punch/Bender (VCP) to the Benchmark Three-Point Register Punch/Bender for single & double wide presses. On the NELA booth (# 4063), a Vision Punch/Bender with a plate buffer and dummy plate feeder will be displayed. This system features the NELA closed-loop software, barcode readers, page tracking and quality control software. Also at the NELA booth, NELA will display its NELA lock-up designed for 48” web-reduction. This stainless steel lock-up offers a convenient & hassle free step in any web reduction between 50” and 46”. A second NELA Vision Punch/Bender can also be seen at the Fuji Enovation Booth (# 14046) inline with a Fuji CTP device. This VCP is designed for 48” single and double wide plates. Another interesting display can be seen at the Southern Litho Plate Booth (# 9055): The NELA Three-Point Benchmark Punch/Bender is inline with a Screen CTP device. This Three-Point Bender features conveyors and plate sorter and is capable of future upgrades including Vision Punch/Bending. The Benchmark is an interesting design—especially for smaller print shops. NELA project engineering capabilities will also be showcased at the Agfa booth in the form of over-sized layout displays. This impressive exposé shows NELA’s position as the market leader of Register & Plate Automation Systems.
