BOWE BELL + HOWELL increases ranking in Training magazine Top 100

Press release from the issuing company

Wheeling, Ill., March 10, 2006 – At the Training magazine Top 100 awards banquet on March 5 in Orlando, Fla., BOWE BELL + HOWELL, a leading provider of document processing and postal solutions, was awarded the 71st ranking – an advancement of nine positions from its previous ranking in 2005. “I am delighted in BÖWE BELL + HOWELL’s jump in the Top 100 ranking and congratulate our entire training team and support staff for this recognition,” said Cary Disney, manager of training and documentation. “We continually strive to be distinctively better in our efforts to develop our associates in all aspects of training.” BÖWE BELL + HOWELL credits the advanced ranking to its investment into expanded programs in 2005. Among the programs conducted, a major focus for the year included non-technical training for leaders and associates. The company launched a strategic leadership development curriculum aimed at advancing leadership and business skills. BÖWE BELL + HOWELL also established Six Sigma training, an enhanced new associate orientation program, and Web-based lunchtime learning sessions, building business awareness for all associates. Training magazine presents this annual award to 100 companies that invest in quality programs for developing human capital. The rankings were determined by the scope of employee training and development programs. BÖWE BELL + HOWELL has won the annual Training Top 100 award four of the last five years, sharing the honor with several of its strategic business customers.
