Brandspring Selects Pageflex Storefront to Power Their Brand Management Web Applications

Press release from the issuing company

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--March 9, 2006-- Pageflex, the leading provider of cross-media and Web-to-print technology for personalized marketing, announced today that Brandspring Solutions, located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and a leader in the development of Web-based media delivery systems, selected Pageflex Storefront to support their work developing brand management Web applications for clients, ranging from financial services companies to manufacturing companies to franchise networks. Brandspring chose Pageflex Storefront technology because of its un-matched Web-to-print composition capability and the ease with which it can be implemented. This fast implementation means that Brandspring can quickly and easily develop and deploy effective marketing programs for their clients, giving both Brandspring and their clients a faster and better rate of return on their marketing investment. Brandspring is using Pageflex Storefront to develop a propriety suite of brand management Web applications which can be customized for each client's unique business processes. For each client, these Web applications provide a site where approved users are able to customize corporate approved marketing materials, including advertisements, direct mail, flyers, coupons, and point-of-purchase display builders. Within each website, the workflow enables a user to select marketing materials to order, then guides them through the steps needed to populate Pageflex templates, creating customized, corporate approved collateral online, in real time. Content choices available to the user during the customization process are based on what has been approved by the client and will meet the goals of the particular marketing piece. Content objects reside in a secure server, and can include such items as logos, graphic headers, text blocks, formatted text, product photos, and pricing information. Once users have made their customization choices and added them to the templates, their customized marketing materials are produced in minutes. A high-resolution, print-ready TIFF, EPS or PDF file is automatically generated and can be downloaded or sent to the printer or publication of the users' choice. Some examples of high-value applications developed by Brandspring and powered by Pageflex Storefront include a dealer self-service campaign portal for a direct marketing agency serving a national recreational vehicle manufacturer, an ingeniously-designed, database-driven sign builder site for a gas fireplace manufacturer, and an on-demand marketing portal for a financial services company. The financial services on demand marketing portal is a dynamic, user profile driven application enabling over 3,000 field reps to personalize and order business cards, letterhead, envelopes, brochures, ads (including resizing), seminar notifications, letters, billboards, and even movie promotion slides. For a client offering retail office supplies through a franchise network, Brandspring created an on-line Marketing Center that franchisees can access to personalize and order branded marketing materials on-demand via Pageflex technology. The franchise company's new, streamlined, print-on-demand program has dramatically slashed order processing, printing, and warehousing costs - not to mention eliminating the problem of out-of-date materials getting into circulation. Now the company's primary marketing materials management and ordering tool, the Marketing Center site offers users the most current creative messages and materials, in a variety of formats, to meet a wide spectrum of marketing needs. According to Carl Halverson, Vice President and Executive Producer at Brandspring Solutions, "At Brandspring, we are committed to providing our clients with marketing services that produce results. Using Pageflex Storefront, we are able to create applications that enable our clients to produce marketing materials with the right message to the right audience - right when they need them. The result is marketing success for our clients." Anna Chagnon, Pageflex CEO states "Brandspring is an excellent example of a customer who is utilizing Pageflex technology to its full potential, developing successful campaigns that provide clients from a variety of industries with a better return on their marketing investment. Pageflex Storefront can open up a range of new business opportunities for our customers, and it is gratifying to see the how this technology is contributing to the success of both Brandspring and their clients." With over 28 years of experience, Brandspring works with clients from a range of industries, including a Fortune 500 financial services company, a national calendar ad specialty company, a national refillable ink cartridge franchise company, a leading national gas fireplace manufacturer, a network of eye clinics, a custom cabinet manufacturer, a direct marketing agency serving a national recreational vehicle manufacturer, and a digital printing company serving a national mortgage company.
