Press release from the issuing company

COLCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM, 2 March 2006 - Prism Europe will be presenting the newest versions of Prism-WIN and QTMS iQ, demonstrating the spectrum of new features that provide the systems with expanded functionality and interoperability. The systems will be demonstrated in Prism's IPEX Stand 20-C40. The newest release of Prism-WIN - Version 1903 - with a more advanced, user-friendly graphical interface, added functionality and an enhanced scheduling module, will be introduced to the industry with live demonstrations throughout show. Recently released Prism-WIN SBE, a version designed specifically to meet the requirements of small- to mid-size printing businesses also will be demonstrated at the stand. Prism-QTMS iQ will be a major product highlight of the stand. The most recent release of Prism's intelligent networked shop floor data capture system (SFDC) comprises machine monitoring modules and sensors for automatic collection of shop floor data. Prism-QTMS iQ is now modular with more user friendly features, and new pallet-tracking modules using TCP/IP technology. David Dunbavand, General Manager, Prism Europe, observes, "The new versions we're introducing at IPEX 2006 advance the capabilities of our already powerful Prism MIS and SFDC systems while making them even easier to use in virtually every type of print production environment. They provide an extraordinary level of highly accurate management information to keep profitability and operational performance clearly in sight at every stage of the production process. Visitors to our IPEX stand will have an opportunity to see first hand these latest releases of the Prism systems that have earned worldwide industry acceptance." Since all Prism MIS and SFDC solutions are fully customisable and support the JDF standard, they may also be seen in operation on the IPEX stands of several other leading companies that commonly link Prism-WIN and QTMS iQ with the operation of their press and prepress equipment and systems.
