(Akron, Ohio - Feb 3, 2006) Graphic Intelligence Agency, Inc. (GIA) is partnering with North Light Color for training on Onyx Postershop, GretagMacbeth ProfileMaker, Eye-1 and a new Digital Sign Making class. Current classes start in March; other classes will be added as the training center grows. "Northlight had the goal of putting together a first-class training center in the southeast," Said Mike Rose, VP & General Manager for North Light Color, "and by partnering with the GIA, a leader in RIP and color management training, we have a great facility and fantastic color expert trainers." "Training is the key to fully understanding a new technology as complex as a new RIP, printer or color management device," said Rick Scrimger, Director of GIA Americas. "It's either learn from experts up front, or do it the hard way and learn with customer and your shop's reputation on the line. Northlight is setting up their customers to do it right from the start." There are 4 upcoming classes with more to be added as the center grows. Classes start in March with an Onyx Workflow Workshop and ProfileMaker, Eye1, and Digital Sign Making being added April-June. Check http://www.graphintel.com or http://www.northlightcolor.com for upcoming training dates. "Training should be a part of any new product purchase," Said Mike Rose of Northlight. "Our customers need a total solution that involves not only hardware and software, but the knowledge on how to best use that equipment. Even existing customers can benefit from additional training to learn new techniques, adapt to new versions of software, and become more efficient with technology they already own." Classes will be conducted out of the Northlight Atlanta facility and instruction is also available at customer locations throughout the southeast. Typical classes are 2-days in length, running 9am-5pm. All classes include 30 days of post-training technical support. On-site programs will also include a pre-site interview to tailor the training to each sites specific need. The GIA training methodology also includes extensive post-training evaluation and customer sign-off. All training is guaranteed.
