Kodak Speakers to Share Insights on Digital Printing Technologies and Opportunities at PODi Applications Forum

ROCHESTER, N.Y., February 23-A Kodak customer development champion will join PODi executive board members and end users to discuss issues and opportunities in digital printing during the Executive Briefing session at the PODi Applications Forum on March 1 at 1 p.m. Cheryl Nelan, Director of Customer Development for Kodak's Graphic Communications Group (GCG), will discuss technology trends and Kodak solutions to help customers add new services and revenue opportunities with digital printing. Also that day, Pat McGrew, Director of Vertical Industry Marketing, GCG, will serve on the "Real World PPML" panel at 10 a.m. The session will feature case studies of users who selected PPML, with an emphasis on which features are being used and how it integrates with existing workflows. The Executive Briefing will be moderated by Rab Govil, PODi President. Software, web to print, color management, spot color and finishing are among the topics on the agenda, which includes an extensive question and answer period with audience members. "The PODi Application Forum provides an ideal environment for print providers to learn about the latest successes in using digital print technology, and Kodak can help them take these learnings and apply them to their own businesses to find even greater success," said Nelan. "We look forward to participating in the dialogue and providing our insights about ways in which customers can maximize the productivity, revenue and profitability potential of digital printing." Information about Kodak's comprehensive print on demand portfolio will be available during the Vendor Exhibition Fair on Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. Solutions include black and white and color digital production presses, high volume inkjet printers, direct imaging systems, and workflow software. Kodak supports PODi as an Executive Level member. Later this year, two case studies featuring customers of Kodak's digital printing technology will be included in the sixth edition of PODi's Best Practices in Digital Print.
