Press release from the issuing company

BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom--April 4, 2006-- X-Rite Inc. continues to give creative and printing professionals confidence in the accuracy of colour control by providing a family of colour management solutions. X-Rite's IPEX 2006 exhibition has been created with all graphic communication specialists in mind. The stand design exemplifies the workflow process from Graphic Design and Prepress to Automated Pressroom control. X-Rite's colour management solutions for each application are present. The vivid and bright colours of the X-Rite stand is a reminder of X-Rite's commitment to providing solutions which will help generate colour excellence at all stages of the graphic communication processes. According to X-Rite's Director of Marketing and Design Laura Davis, the stand will accomplish two things. First it will allow customers to see, touch, and test drive the full spectrum of X-Rite's graphic communication solutions. Second, it is comprised of individual workstations highlighting the graphic communications workflow process. Each workstation emphasises the specific X-Rite solutions which have been engineered to create quality assurance and communication within that segment of the workflow. "It's important for our customers to know that we have solutions that fit each industry segment and that the individual solutions are integrated into the complete workflow solution," Davis said. Workstation flow and highlights are as follows: Workstation 1: Pro-Photo Preview X-Rite's new OPTIX XR2 and the Pulse ColorElite with OPTIX XR2. Each Pro-Photo solution has been created to assist creative professionals such as photographers and graphic designers with colour control and ensures accurate colour outputs. Workstation 2: Graphic Design and Prepress Features X-Rite's MonacoPROFILER; QCcolor; ColorPort; PerfectPalette; Advanced Color Ensembles (DTP70); X-RiteColor Ensembles+ (DTP45); Pulse ColorElite; and the new OPTIX XR2. As the workflow edges toward the Prepress end of production, the X-Rite solutions move toward assuring accurate colour specification, calibration, and management. Workstation 4: Pressroom Process Control X-Rite's 500 series as well as the QCcolor, and X-RiteColor Master provide software solutions and precision hardware to the pressroom engineers. All have been designed to reduce waste and increase productivity through quality control and assurance in colour accuracy, even with the toughest colours.
