Xerox and Kodak to Host DICE Members in Rochester

Press release from the issuing company

In a effort to better educate users about their respective technologies and the latest opportunities in the digital printing space, Xerox and Kodak will be hosting members of the Digital Imaging Customer Exchange (DICE) for a special two and a half day trip to Rochester. The trip comes out of the recent evolution of the Indigo Customer Exchange into the Digital Imaging Customer Exchange. The hosts will generously be covering travel, meals, and lodging for all of the DICE guests. The Xerox portion of the program, March 15-16, will feature a tour of the IGen3 manufacturing facilities, a reception and dinner, an evening customer panel, a morning peer group breakout session, and some general presentations on business development, workflow, and technology. Kodak's Graphic Communications Group President, Jim Langley, will serve as host of the users group for the second half of the event, March 16-17. The Kodak portion of the meeting will feature a dinner, a plant tour, product demos, a discussion of business development opportunities, and information on both NexPress and Versamark. After an 11 year history as ICE (Indigo Customer Exchange), the users group's members voted in November to broaden its charter and become DICE (Digital Imaging Customer Exchange). Currently, all of the group's approximately 250 member companies are owners of at least one HP Indigo digital press. With the legal name change to DICE just having been approved, the group will soon start to broaden its reach, creating opportunities for Kodak and Xerox digital press owners to become members. Details will be announced in the next several weeks. The March 15-17 trip is open to owners and senior managers of DICE member companies, with the hosts covering the travel and lodging expense for one representative from each company. Indigo owners who have never been a member of ICE/DICE before may sign up for a free three-month trial membership and thereby qualify for the free trip to Rochester. Information on becoming a member and on the Xerox/Kodak trip can be found at www.indigousers.com.
