PODi Announces Keynote Speakers and Exhibitors for 2006 Applications Forum

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY - February 15, 2006 - PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announced today a rich slate of keynote speakers and exhibitors for the 2006 PODi Applications Forum. The lineup is designed to address some of the hottest issues in the industry today, from finding the right product mix to forging new partnerships to capturing emerging market opportunities. The 2006 event takes place February 27 - March 1 at the Las Vegas Hilton. In the first keynote, PODi President Rab Govil kicks off the conference with a look at what print service providers must know to achieve the right balance of markets and products. "Achieving Balance in a Growth-dominated Industry" tackles the tough question of whether providers should resist offering the newest "hot button" solutions in exchange for continued sustainable growth. He also reveals how to identify hot new trends and technologies, and measure their true business potential. Other informative and inspiring keynote sessions include a joint session between Susan Wilkins, Best Buy's Director of Loyalty Marketing, and Dawn Maire, Senior Vice President and Group Account Director, Rapp Collins Worldwide. Their presentation will feature the highly successful Personalized Marketing Engine initiative as well as the unique agency/client relationship that enabled it. Another highlight will be the dramatic, inspiring story of one of Canada's digital printing pioneers. In this keynote, "A Study of Inspiration in Dots and Pixels," John Rogers and Rab Govil share the stage to tell how Rogers' unique commitment to his family, his organization, its mission and vision led his company, Dots & Pixels, on a very rewarding - but not always easy - path to success. Gold and Silver Level Sponsorships Once again the Applications Forum will include a Vendor Fair designed to allow attendees to speak with industry leaders during meals, breaks and at the Vendor Fair Reception on Tuesday evening, February 28th. The Vendor Fair is a low-key environment designed to foster discussion between service providers, marketers and vendors about the latest products and services in the industry. Currently the Gold Level exhibitors include Hewlett-Packard, Quark, Xeikon/Punch Graphix and Xerox. Silver Level exhibitors include Adobe, Canon, Cohesion, Creo, Document Sciences, EFI, Exstream Software, Group 1 Software, Kodak Graphic Communications Group, Pageflex, Pitney-Bowes, Printable Technologies, Saepio Technologies, USADATA and XMPie.
