Dr. Joe Comments On December 2005 Print Shipments Data

February 6, 2006 -- (WhatTheyThink.com - By Dr. Joe Webb) -- December 2005 commercial printing shipments were down -9.3% compared to December 2004. There were $7.166 billion in shipments. November's shipments were revised down by -$46 million. For the year, commercial printing shipments were down -3.8%, but the fourth quarter was down -6.9%. On an inflation-adjusted basis, the declines are obviously greater. Complete analysis will appear in the February 10th edition of "Fridays with Dr. Joe.
