Clarity installations reach more than 1,000

Press release from the issuing company

The past twelve months have seen a marked increase in users investing in Clarity Professional modular workflow software which is designed to provide sign-makers, printers and display bureaux with an easy-to-use computerised customer and order management system. Available from Touch Systems, Clarity is now installed across a UK customer base of more than 1,000 users ranging from small businesses through to large companies and multi-site operations. Clarity Professional is a modular software suite which allows users to start with a system to suit their immediate needs, yet to upgrade whenever greater capabilities and functions are required. The program is designed for use on a Windows-based PC and it can easily be configured for single users or for operation across a network. The package takes care of CRM, the processing of estimates, orders, jobs, despatch and invoicing, thus reducing time and removing any margin for error when manual paperwork is employed. Clarity Professional handles all elements seamlessly, and is easy to install and operate. Touch Systems offers an "out of the box" option for smaller users whilst, for larger organisations, solutions can be tailored to suit a company's specific requirements. The elements available in the Clarity Professional suite include marketing and sales activities, quotations, order processing, optimisation of stock, production scheduling, pricing, delivery and invoicing. The program runs on a Microsoft Access back-bone or, for VPNs and larger network operations, under SQL server. The starting price for Clarity Professional is just £399 and users do not need to have accountancy experience to benefit from the program. Training is minimal, and operation is straightforward. Richard Gamlin, sales director of Touch Systems, comments: "We believe that the time saved by users of Clarity Professional easily makes this software an essential tool for any size of business. The just-in-time nature of many print and sign-making jobs means it is vital for companies to have a simplified and fast method of order processing and our fail-safe software is proving to be an invaluable tool. "The fact that we now have 1,000 separate user installations of Clarity Professional across a broad user base is testimony to the success of the program," he concludes. "With the level of enquiries we are currently receiving, I expect that number to be doubled during 2006."
