Lasermax Roll Systems Introduces Quality Control Solutions at Xplor/GOA 2006

Press release from the issuing company

Miami Beach, FL (February 2, 2006) - During this week's Xplor/Graphics of the Americas show in Miami Beach, Lasermax Roll Systems is unveiling a pair of solutions which monitor image quality and data integrity of high-speed continuous digital printer output. MICRcheck in-line MICR verifier and Web Vision quality monitoring system are on display in the Lasermax Roll Systems booth #311. MICRcheck provides assurance of MICR print quality to organizations printing large volumes of checks on high-speed continuous digital printers, without the waste and interruptions inherent to an off-line verification process. Because in-line MICR verification can be completed in less than a minute, testing frequency may easily be increased, thus raising the level of quality assurance. Printer downtime is decreased and operator productivity is increased.MICRcheck is exhibited in-line with the Lasermax Roll Systems RS AutoLoad 92 solution. RS AutoLoad 92 provides organizations printing large volumes of transactional documents destined for the mail with stacks of up to 10,000 forms for bulk inserter feeding. Web Vision monitors image quality, data integrity and workflow processes directly in-line after a continuous web digital printer, so that issues can be addressed immediately. Using state-of-the-art cameras to scan the full width of the web, the newly available Web Vision captures very large, high-resolution images of printed output. Web Vision is exhibited in-line with an RS Roll to Roll System. At the Nipson booth (#883), the Lasermax Roll Systems LX Stack is cutting and stacking book and direct mail applications from a Nipson VaryPress 200 printing system. At the Kodak booth (#919), the Lasermax Roll Systems RS Roll to Fold is fanfolding output from a Kodak Versamark VT3000 printing system. John Fiske, director of product engineering for Lasermax Roll Systems, is speaking at a vendor tutorial at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 3. Mr. Fiske's theme is "Digital Print Quality Assurance". He will describe the benefits derived from adding an in-line quality assurance system to your high-speed continuous digital print operation. Visitors to the Lasermax Roll booth can register for drawings to win an Apple iPod(tm). For more information about the company and its products, visit www.lasermaxroll.com , or call 781-229-2266.
