Oce Business Services Launches First-Ever Integrated Marketing Campaign

CHICAGO--Jan. 30, 2006-- Oce, a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today announced that Oce Business Services has launched a major new campaign. It is the company's first U.S. integrated brand marketing campaign. The first set of campaign ads establishes a compelling outsourcing value proposition for clients that is built around document process management and integrated lifecycle services. The campaign showcases the role of Oce Business Services technology, people and expertise in managing the series of processes that span the lifecycle of a document from initial creation or capture through archiving or timely disposal. The rich tradition of leadership and innovation established by Oce over its 125 year history serves as a strong backdrop. "This is a highly assertive, creative marketing campaign and a first for our company," said Joseph R. Marciano, President and CEO. "The business benefits of outsourcing document process management are tangible and often substantial. We have guided a host of leading companies to cut document costs by up to 30 percent and improve performance by outsourcing their mail, print and copy, imaging and records management services. The thrust of our campaign communicates these benefits and builds awareness of Oce as an industry leader meriting serious consideration." The campaign theme line, "Advancing Document Process Management to a Higher Level," sets an industry-defining standard and establishes a continuum of progressive improvement. The recurring refrain, "Keep an eye on Oce", suggests other meaningful advances will be forthcoming. "The campaign focuses on the unique value Oce Business Services brings clients through meaningful innovation in document process management and document lifecycle services," said Elizabeth Halaki, Vice President of Marketing. "As we expand our presence in the markets we serve and aggressively target growth, establishing awareness of the brand and our differentiating value proposition is essential to success. This initiative sets the framework." Oce MAX(TM) is a recent advanced solution from Oce Business Services that is cited in the campaign. It's a unique Six Sigma based performance management tool that increases the efficiency and effectiveness of outsourced document processes. Oce Business Services is investing in industry innovations like Oce MAX so clients will be better positioned to benefit from best practices document performance and meet compliance requirements. The new campaign will launch in the United States. The first magazine ads appear in Fortune, with more appearing in Forbes and vertical business publications in the coming months. Oce Business Services also will have prominent placement on the Forbes online site as well as other online venues. New York-based agency Creative Consortium International created the campaign. Components of the integrated marketing campaign include print and online advertising, direct marketing, collateral, trade show components, and web site landing pages for visitors to explore.
