Customer from Thailand Invests in 32 Units of the Speedmaster XL 75

Press release from the issuing company

(June 02, 2008) At drupa 2008, the Thung Hua Sinn Group from the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok received the certificate on the purchase of their Speedmaster XL 75 from Dr. Jürgen Rautert, Member of Management Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). This investment of a total of 32 units has made Thung Hua Sinn Group the world's biggest user of the new Speedmaster XL 75.

During more than 50 years of the company's history, the Thung Hua Sinn Group has become a specialist in packaging and label printing, documented by a large number of prestigious awards for quality printing and environmentally friendly printing. The company achieved its reputation as market leader through offering not just one-stop services, including prepress and finishing, but also coating, die cutting and embossing.

"We are committed to utilizing the most up-to-date machinery throughout the entire production process. This commitment gives us a cutting-edge advantage and assures our clients total satisfaction," says Ananchat Thangkasemvathana, Managing Director of Thung Hua Sinn Group. This strategy was the foundation of the decision to modernize their machinery with various Speedmaster XL 75 presses. Among them is also the 10,000. unit of the most productive press platform (of Speedmaster CD 74 and Speedmaster XL 75) in the 50 x 70 format range.

Thung Hua Sinn Group also added several fully automated cutting and label systems from POLAR. All equipment will be integrated with Prinect Workflow software. The new machinery will be installed in a newly built state of the art facilities outside the city.

The Speedmaster XL 75's standards, such as the automatic presetting of the complete sheet travel and the new Prinect Press Center with the innovative process-oriented operator guidance IntelliStart, are the pre-requisite for a highly profitable production.

Options like the maximum printing speed of 18,000 sheets per hour, AutoPlate XL and Prinect Inpress Control or double-coating presses and the CutStar or FoilStar modules further emphasize the flexibility in fitting this Heidelberg press to various needs.
