Exstream Software Reports Continued Dramatic Growth in 2005

Expanding its position as the premier provider of enterprise personalization solutions, Exstream Software closed 2005 with distinguished accomplishments and dramatic growth that included a revenue increase of 40 percent over 2004 and many new customers in every industry Exstream serves. At year-end, more than 400 companies around the world in the financial services, insurance, banking, telecommunications, utilities, service provider, hospitality and government industries were using Exstream’s award-winning Dialogue software to create, manage and deliver higher quality, fully personalized communications through print, real-time and interactive channels. The company further expanded its global operations by adding offices in the United Kingdom and Germany, and continued development of its business partnerships in Japan, China, Mexico and South Africa. Additionally, the general availability of Dialogue v5, Anywhere for Marketing, and AFP Compare, coupled with the capture of several prestigious national awards, rounded out yet another impressive year for Exstream. The company received high honors for its enterprise personalization solutions from several prestigious organizations in 2005. Exstream was ranked by Inc. magazine for the second year in a row as one of America’s fastest growing private companies—an achievement realized by only one-third of the companies on the list. Exstream ranked #159—52nd among software companies—on the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a listing of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. And Software Magazine ranked Exstream #285 on its distinguished Software 500 list of the world’s foremost software and services providers. Exstream ranked 10th on this list among companies between $30 and $100 million. Additionally, Boston- based Celent Communications named Exstream a leading provider of insurance document management solutions in its “Insurance Software Deal Trends 2003-2004” report. Many marquee companies adopted Exstream’s Dialogue enterprise personalization solution in North America, including such well-respected enterprises as Allstate Financial Services, ranked #3 in the U.S. property and casualty market and #13 in life insurance; American Family, ranked #13 in the U.S. property and casualty market; Humana, one of the nation's largest publicly traded health benefits companies; Citicorp’s Card Division; Wachovia Corporation, the third largest retail bank in the U.S; Reliant Energy, a Texas-based utility providing electric service to almost two million customers; the state of California; and Holland America Line, a leader in the cruise industry's premium segment. These companies, among a number of other notable enterprises, selected Exstream’s market-leading Dialogue to deploy a coordinated and consistent strategy for all customer communications, regardless of document type or delivery channel. Exstream achieved 135% of its financial target for international sales, landing some of the world’s largest companies, including QBE Insurance, Australia’s largest general insurance and reinsurance group, and one of the top 25 insurers in the world; JAIS Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japan Research Institute Ltd.; Total Cards, a division of Total—France’s largest corporation and the world’s fourth largest oil and gas company; La Redoute, the leading mail order and online catalog sales company in France; Groupama Spain, part of the Groupama Group—the world's third largest property and casualty mutual insurer and one of the strongest financial groups in Europe; and Bankenes BetalingsSentral AS, the market-leading provider of payment services to Norwegian banks. Exstream grew its business partner program in 2005 both internationally and in key industries the company serves. Exstream announced partnerships with SQLink Group in Israel, one of the country’s leading providers of software and consulting services, and with Digipro, S.A. de C.V., a leading provider of document management solutions in Mexico. In North America, Exstream advanced its industry partnerships with Toronto-based Prinova, Inc., a provider of innovative document design, development and delivery solutions, and Doculynx, Inc., a Nebraska-based information technology company focused on helping print and mail service providers. Additionally, Exstream announced in October it achieved the industry optimized level for both banking and insurance in IBM’s PartnerWorld Industry Networks. Exstream had a huge year in terms of technological innovation. General availability of Dialogue v5 was announced in June with more than 250 enhancements, including seven new modules and the all new Dialogue Anywhere for Marketing, a browser-based design interface that allows users to create and test rules-based marketing messages over the Internet for incorporation into documents at run time. Additionally, Dialogue Anywhere for Marketing was localized for the French marketplace.
