Number One US Spanish Language Publisher chooses Tera

Press release from the issuing company

Tera Digital Publishing is proud to announce the technological partnership with Impremedia, number one US Spanish language media group. Impremedia chose Tera’s GN3 to produce its four titles and Tark to manage their digital assets. The group, based in New York, owns and publishes four daily papers: La Opinión, in Los Angeles, El Diario Prensa, in New York, La Raza, in Chicago, and El Mensajero, daily newspaper of the San Francisco area. All the four titles are the largest Spanish speaking papers of their areas. With more than half a million readers everyday, La Opinión is the largest Hispanic newspaper of the country and the second most read daily in the Los Angeles area. El Diario Prensa, in New York, is the oldest Spanish language publication, number one Hispanic daily in the New York area and second largest title in the US Latino market, behind La Opinión. “We are very proud to be the technological partner of such a prestigious group as Impremedia.” – comments Anton Andrea Speciale CEO of Tera Digital Publishing – “The group has a strong leading position in all the four areas of interest, that actually represent the top four US Hispanic markets, and a dynamic strategy aimed to increase its share of market by acquiring new titles in the country.” Nowadays Impremedia holds the 35% of the Spanish speaking market of the country, distributing every week almost 2 million copies and reaching over 15 million readers across the USA. While El Diario Prensa, in New York, is already in production with Tera’s GN3 content management system, at La Opinión, in Los Angeles, the new system is under deployment and expected to go live within a few weeks. La Raza, in Chicago, will be the third title to migrate to GN3 and the activities are scheduled to begin between March and April.
