Press release from the issuing company

STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 18, 2006 – Stora Enso today announced additional offerings in its digital paper portfolio to provide printers with opportunities to increase efficiencies and profitability. The company now offers Futura Laser Gloss in 80 and 100 lb. text and cover in the 20.5” x 14.3” size for Xerox iGEN3 production laser equipment. In addition, Stora Enso introduced 120 lb. Futura Laser Gloss cover in 18” x 12” and 20.5” x 14.3” sizes. The 18” x 12” size is HP Indigo certified. According to Dennis Essary, director of Stora Enso’s office papers in North America, “The larger sheet sizes will create dramatic form layout efficiency and increased profitability for printers. The new, heavier 120 lb. cover of Futura Laser Gloss is ideal for print projects such as paperback book covers or pocket folders.” Futura Laser is Stora Enso’s high-quality coated paper engineered for maximum performance in dry- and liquid-toner technologies. Its ultra-stable formation and optimized surface mean better curl resistance, faster paper-tray feeding and high pages-per-minute speeds. Futura Laser is made in an alkaline system, ensuring archival quality. By providing these additional formats, Stora Enso continues to offer the most comprehensive line of digital paper products available in North America.
