PrintStaff opens office at Printing Industry of Georgia (PIAG) headquarters

Press release from the issuing company

Boston, MA - January 13, 2006 - PrintStaff, the leading placement firm for skilled help in the graphic arts and printing industry, announces it has opened an office within the Printing Industry Association of Georgia (PIAG) headquarters, to specifically focus its attention on the temporary and full-time help placement requirements of the affiliate's membership. Printing Industry Association of Georgia has served Georgia's dynamic graphic arts industry for more than 100 years, assisting thousands of Georgia graphic arts professionals in their pursuit of excellence and success. PIAG represents more than 500 printing and graphic arts supply firms in Georgia. The Association is part of a nationwide network of 27 printing associations affiliated with the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation / Printing Industries of America (GATF/PIA). In fact, PIAG is one of the fastest growing affiliates of GATF/PIA. To manage the PIAG office, PrintStaff has appointed Kelly Morgan account executive to oversee operations. Kelly has extensive experience in recruiting and staffing. She comes to PrintStaff from CompHealth, where she was senior client developer and staffing consultant, responsible for marketing services to clinical laboratories, hospitals, and clinics for temporary Physician placement. She was also in charge of recruitment of all facility professions and approval of all agreement negotiations and terms. As national retail manager at Nextel Communications, Kelly recruited and sourced for regional staffing for kiosks at major national retailers. She has also held roles at Jensen Industries, Total HomeCare, and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Utah. Morgan earned an MBA and BS, business management, from the University of Phoenix. PIAG and PrintStaff already share a partnership program to provide a cost-savings program for members to find temporary workers and hire permanent employees. PrintStaff's skilled, experienced employees are available in all areas of printing and graphics, including prepress, press, bindery, and customer service, ready to help companies for virtually any length of time. PIAG members can reap two benefits with this alliance: high quality service and the PIAG member discount program: 5% off Flex Staffing rates (for short- or long-term, skilled workers when needed); 10% off Flex-to-Hire rates (for a candidate trial period before making a hiring decision); and 10% off Direct Hire rates (for key employee search and placement). Before, PIAG members needed to set up a PrintStaff account online. Now, members can call Kelly Morgan directly. "The PIAG affiliate of PIA is an exceptionally busy, fast-growing office. To serve its large, active base effectively, we considered it valuable to place a PrintStaff account executive directly from PIAG headquarters," remarks David Regan, PrintStaff CEO. "We are fortunate to have Kelly Morgan maintain our presence in PIAG. She has demonstrated the ability to deliver two important requirements for us: the ability professionally assist businesses who require staffing, along with the skills to work well with PIAG staff."
