Xerox Packs Graphics of the Americas Booth with Powerful, Business-Generating Systems, Software and Services

Press release from the issuing company

Xerox Corporation kicks off the New Year with a commanding presence at Graphics of the Americas. The 4,200 square foot booth will be filled to capacity with Xerox digital technology, workflow solutions and business development resources all designed to generate profits and streamline operations for the graphic communications industry. A key theme that will resonate from the Xerox booth is the ease of transitioning to digital – an initiative Xerox ignited at Print 05 with the largest display of all-digital technology. “For more than two decades, Xerox has revolutionized the digital production printing industry – and at Graphics of the Americas we will provide customers the information they need to implement the technology to grow their business and increase profits,” said Quincy Allen, president, Production Systems Group. Show attendees are invited to stop by and experience for themselves Xerox’s systems, software and services – a powerful combination of the the right business model, the right workflow and the right technology to give customers a competitive edge. Xerox’s booth, #319, will be divided into four zones that address critical topics for the graphic communications industry: • ProfitAccelerator Digital Business Resources - The zone features support tools and programs that help customers maximize digital technology investments through the use of sales and marketing resources, financial resources, creative and design resources and training resources. For example, customers can use a financial modeling program called ProfitQuick to help them justify the purchase of digital production equipment by showing which applications are most profitable. • Print On Demand - Print on demand automates the production process, reduces turnaround time and eliminates inventory costs by providing the flexibility to print jobs only when they are needed. Print providers can quickly produce marketing brochures in short runs as products, services and special offers change. • Personalizing for Profit – Attendees will learn how to create effective personalized direct-marketing campaigns using customized communications that maximize response rates. Using Xerox digital printing systems, workflow software and integrated finishing options, customers can create full-color, professional materials, including brochures, invoices and signage that target a specific audience with the most relevant marketing information and improve the return on their marketing investments. • Book Publishing - Print providers can generate new revenue streams by offering digital book publishing. Attendees will see Xerox technology that supports this business opportunity. Xerox’s booth will also include a sampling of the winning applications of the Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging Awards, which recognize excellence in digital printing. The awards highlight innovative personalized materials, short-run color materials, monochrome materials, digital books and manuals. They also demonstrate the partnerships between the clients, creative professionals and printers who are involved in producing these high-value applications.
