TROY Group Inc. Appoints Brian Dirk President and COO

SANTA ANA, Calif.--Dec. 28, 2005-- TROY Group Inc. announced today the appointment of Brian Dirk as president and COO of TROY Group Inc. Dirk was previously executive vice president of TROY Group Inc. and vice chairman, a position that he will continue to hold. He continues to report to Patrick J. Dirk, chairman and CEO of TROY Group Inc. In his new position, Brian Dirk now has responsibility for the overall operations of the company. On Dec. 22, 2005, TROY Group completed the sale of its Wireless and Connectivity Solutions business to silex technology america Inc.
