Pageflex Puts Personalized Cross-Media Campaign Management on the Desktop with Launch of Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite
Press release from the issuing company
Cambridge, MA — December 7, 2005 — Pageflex, the leading provider of cross-media and Web-to-print technology for personalized marketing, today announced the release of Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite, a completely new desktop software application suite enabling targeted and personalized content in both print and email. The product incorporates award-winning variable data and cross-media functionality from Pageflex into a desktop application and is the only desktop application on the market to enable database-driven personalized output in both print and email.
“With the release today of Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite, desktop users finally have a powerful yet easy-to-use cross-media application that enables them to access the increased response rates that result from professionally-crafted targeted marketing,” commented Anna Chagnon, Pageflex CEO. “Marketers and service providers will appreciate the flexibility of the feature set, enabling unmatched sophistication in messaging while automatically maintaining design integrity in highly variable print and email output.”
Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite delivers powerful features not found in other variable data extensions or applications, allowing it to serve as campaign central for personalized cross-media marketing programs. Among the compelling features are cross-media capabilities for creating coordinated, personalized print and email campaigns; variable-length document capabilities; support for workflows that imprint variable data on preprinted color shells; and the ability to compose text in more than 60 languages, including Japanese and Chinese. The core technology features a robust XML composition engine, designed specifically for variable data, and patented “flex” technology that automatically resizes items on a page based on the amount of custom content added.
These features enable users to produce database-driven, one-to-one targeted and personalized documents including direct-mail postcards, mailers and emails, coupons, business cards, event-related collateral, marketing materials, travel itineraries, personalized booklets and much more.
As a desktop application, Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite provides a powerful entry point for companies seeking to drive communications and production workflows with database information. In addition, the product offers flexible migration options enabling easy adaptability to evolving business requirements.
“In planning for diverse service offerings and growth,” noted Chagnon, “users benefit from the suite’s ability to share templates and projects with server-class Pageflex products, including Pageflex Storefront, .EDIT and Mpower. For printers, service providers, agencies, and corporate marketing departments, this means the ability to collaborate with each other, execute projects in a distributed environment, or simply keep options open for future migration to a Web-to-print or enterprise-wide system.”

Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite is available now from Pageflex and its resellers.
