Jetrion Presents Newest Lines Of Wide-Format Solvent And UV Inks At SGIA Digital Expo
Press release from the issuing company
ANN ARBOR, MI – November 22, 2005 – Jetrion LLC, a leading supplier of inkjet printers, inks and custom systems, will make its first appearance at SGIA Digital Expo to introduce printing companies and OEMs to the company's proven, high-performance wide-format solvent and UV inks for Xaar-, Spectra- and Epson-based printers. Jetrion's team of technical specialists will be on hand at Booth #724 throughout the show to provide in-depth information about the inks and present examples of the high quality, rich color results they deliver in the production of outdoor products such as billboards, exterior signage, bus and building wraps.
For several years, Jetrion's wide-format inks have been provided exclusively to leading wide-format OEMs and directly to the industry's largest billboard producers. With an expanded manufacturing facility scheduled to start production early in 2006, Jetrion will have the capacity to offer its performance-proven wide-format inks to companies at all levels in the marketplace.
Dr. Ken Stack, president of Jetrion, observed, "Our first appearance at the SGIA show launches the next phase in our strategy to increase Jetrion's already strong presence in the wide-format inkjet market. With advanced ink technology, the highest quality materials and the purchasing economies provided by our parent Flint Ink, we're able to provide inks that offer an exceptional value proposition in a broad spectrum of wide-format inkjet applications. We've formulated our inks specifically for wide-format environments to improve printer reliability and printhead life, and yield significant cost savings with outstanding color reproduction."
Jetrion's 6500 series true solvent inks are available in four-color, six-color and Hexachrome sets. They enable improved printer performance by increasing printhead open time, reducing clogged nozzles, and reducing printhead maintenance. The Jetrion 6500 inks also extend printhead life and print on the widest range of vinyl, synthetic and paper substrates most often used in outdoor environments. Utilizing the technology of Jetrion's earlier successful wide format ink formulas, the solvent inks are formulated with automotive-grade pigments for exceptional lightfastness and a full two-year outdoor weather resistance. The inks also have a proven shelf life of twelve months.
Jetrion's advanced low-HAPS (hazardous air pollutants), high durability UV color inks produce high image quality at room temperature. The industry's only UV inks that run at room temperature, Jetrion UV inks entirely eliminate the need to heat the printheads of wide-format inkjet printers. Jetrion UV inks provide a large color gamut and have up to two years of outdoor fade resistance for applications such as point-of-purchase signage, exhibit displays, customized real estate signs, directional and event signage.
Jetrion's entire family of competitively priced wide-format inks can reduce overall operating costs for OEMs as well as end-users who stand to realize important savings in material and production time. In Jetrion's pre-launch benchmarking process with major wide-format printing companies across the country, printheads were shown to last significantly longer. Jetrion's wide-format inks also enabled users to print with exceptional reliability and outstanding color quality on a greater variety of lower-cost media.
