PINC To Ship Redesigned 2006 Buyers Guide

Press release from the issuing company

Printing Industries of Northern California will be shipping its completely redesigned 2006 edition of the PINC Print Buyers Guide in January. With nearly 400 pages of information about printing, including a listing of printing equipment and capabilities in Northern California and Northern Nevada, the Guide, which mails to 8,500 plus print buyers, graphic designers, and other print customers also contains helpful information regarding the basics of printing and mailing plus much more. In addition to giving this invaluable spiral bound reference work a whole new and fresh look and feel for 2006, tabbed sections have been reorganized and renamed for easier reference. For instance, the Find a Printer tab has cross-references in each section to the companies that provide the specific service. All users need to do is check the tabs to locate the specific service they need. For example, someone looking for digital printing could find the appropriate service providers listed both under the Find a Printer tab and the Digital Printing tab. The same is true for finishers, mailers, and so on. The online version of the Buyers’ Guide, PrintAccess at www.pinc.org, contains all the information and listings that make up the printed version. Editorial sections that introduce each tab have also been completely rewritten and compressed in order to allow readers to scan copy for key points. Users who want more in depth coverage of a subject, plus some additional information about printing, plus useful checklists and forms can find them online as downloadable PDFs in theVault at www.pinc.org. All print buyers are invited to order a copy of the 2006 PINC Print Buyers Guide. Simply go to www.pinc.org and click on the Free 2006 Print Buyers Guide button under Special Offers. Printing is produced globally today.  However, PINC believes Northern California and Northern Nevada resources close to home can often solve area buyers communication needs more effectively, as long as they know what capabilities exist. The Buyers’ Guide, and its companion online version, PrintAccess at www.pinc.org, is designed to do just that.    PINC is an affiliate of Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation providing business, education, and insurance service for 1,000 graphic arts companies throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada.
