Mohawk Names Mark Capano Director of Purchasing

[Cohoes, NY] – Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. has named Mark Capano as Director of Purchasing. Capano has over 17 years experience in the areas of purchasing and materials sourcing. Before joining Mohawk, Capano recently held the position of Director of Procurement Supply Chain, Corporate Services for the Columbus, Ohio-based Retail Ventures. Prior to that, Capano was Director of Procurement, Supply Chain, Corporate Services for Trans World Entertainment as well as Sourcing Manager, Supply Chain for General Electric Company. Capano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA in Management from Regis University. In his new position, Capano will report directly to Mohawk's Executive Vice President and CFO, Jack Haren. "Mark's skills and managerial experience will further assure the achievement of cost synergies throughout the supply chain process.
