Press release from the issuing company

November 17, 2005 – San Mateo, CA – Enfocus Software, the world leader in PDF quality management solutions for the graphic arts industry, is continuing its increasingly popular education programs, begun last summer and continued through PRINT 05, by teaming with Apple and xpedx to present its “Perfecting PDF Workflows” seminar. The event will take place in Tampa, Florida at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay hotel on December 14. The free, half-day educational session will present an overview of the latest PDF solutions for efficient workflow deployment and increased productivity. Enfocus will also preview new PitStop Automate, announced at PRINT 05 and expected to be released in Q1 2006. Built on the powerful Enfocus PitStop Library platform, PitStop Automate extends Enfocus' renowned quality control formula to introduce extensive automation functionality in the production process. Perfecting PDF Workflows will focus on real world problems and solutions associated with PDF workflows. The half-day event (from 8:30 am – 1 pm) is ideal for design professionals, commercial printers, quick printers, and publishers who are tired of having problems working with PDF files, and who want to improve their PDF workflows. Apple will showcase its latest products, including Xserve and Xserve RAID; and Enfocus will give attendees a closer look at its Certified PDF technology built into PitStop Professional, PitStop Server and Instant PDF; and all running on recently-released Mac OS X Tiger Server. Seminar participants will see demonstrations of PDF best practices from content creation to certification and preflight; through to professional output using Apple and Enfocus solutions.
