Stora Enso boosts Gusto to new brightness level

Press release from the issuing company

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 7, 2005 – Stora Enso, the world's largest paper and board manufacturer, today announced it has increased the brightness level of Gusto to 90 (GE brightness scale). Gusto is a sheetfed coated fine paper made in gloss and satin finishes. The brighter, bluer-white shade of Gusto delivers more value to North American customers who desire economy along with print quality. Gusto is acid-free, of archival quality and designed with side-to-side surface uniformity for superior print gloss and smoothness. It is manufactured at the company's Wisconsin Rapids Mill (Wisconsin), which provides reliable availability and access for North American customers. The Wisconsin Rapids Mill is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 certified. From an environmental perspective, Gusto is made with elemental chlorine free pulp. The fiber used in Gusto comes from sustainable forests, most of which meet the requirements of the American Forest & Paper Association's Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) in the United States and Canada, or the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) in Europe.
