WOODRIDGE, IL (November 2, 2005) - Tensor Group, Inc. has installed its first heatset press in Canada at Prolific Web, located in Winnipeg, Canada. Prolific Web recently purchased an additional four (4) Tensor T-1400 units to add onto their existing Tensor pressline, converting their 2-highs into 4-high towers. The units are equipped with Tensor remote motorization and a full helical gear train allowing the units to run at 40,000 IPH. The heavy-duty H-50 jaw folder includes a commercial quarter folder, double parallel, crosshead perforator, ring perforator, double under folder leads and former air with blower. The H-50 has proven to work well with other brands of web presses, making it an excellent add-on to any existing pressline. Prolific Web has been successfully operating their existing Tensor pressline and producing commercial newspapers and flyers as well as high-quality trader publications since 2002. The increased demand for high-quality 4-color work sparked the need for Prolific to add-on to their existing pressline. The heatset addition and the double parallel on the folder where needed to accommodate more commercial book work and other niche-type commercial products.
